The Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is inextricably linked to Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood, home to the head-waters of the boulevard bearing his name.
Engage Civil spearheads an annual a day of service in Bronzeville, on the King Holiday as a fitting, and necessary, way to keep the vitality of his Dream alive. Mutual service brings people together, builds community, and demonstrates our common interests. Stronger communities are more vibrant, more able to combat crime, and provide safe streets for its children, residents and businesses.
